Make sure to visit my RC forum. It is brand new, and to get it started I am going to be giving away some really cool prizes. You will have to check the forum to find out what they are, but I know everyone will be happy. I am going to get it all straightened out this week and hopefully we can start getting some interaction going on.
I will be doing both written and video reviews of everything RC. I will review my monster trucks, buggies, touring cars, and everything that goes into them. I am mostly a basher, I like to drive my cars on the street and at the park down the road from my house. I break a lot of parts and treat them pretty rough, but that is part of the fun. I don’t have to work on them, I get my dad to do that for me, but truth be told he breaks a lot more stuff than I do. Maybe if he learned how to drive it would help, but I doubt it. He is just plain ol’ crazy.
One of the biggest parts of this site is the video section. I have been busy adding videos to it, but anyone can add videos. If you would like to add yours please feel free. There are a couple of hundred RC videos so far, and I want this to be the largest collection of RC stuff on the net, so I am adding new videos every day. The easiest way to use the video component is to click on categories and then choose the videos you want to watch. Once you are watching a video there is a search function just to the right of the video player, you can use it to search for any video you want. I will also be making a lot of running videos in the next few months to add to the site.
I am Tayler, and I am 16 years old. I have been into RC cars for quite a few years and decided that I would start this site to share the fun with everyone else. I live in Arizona and we are lucky enough to have 4 tracks in the area, including the nitro pit which holds some world class tournaments. But like I said before I am into driving around my neighborhood and in local parks, but want to get into more racing pretty soon. I have had the cops called on me for noise when driving locally, so I have convinced my dad to convert some of my favorite cars to electric and get rid of the other nitro’s. It doesn’t really hurt my feelings because the noise of nitro has always bothered me. I like electric a lot better. My dad got me the Tekin Rx8 1/8 Buggy System 4030 BL Motor 2.5D 2050Kv for my Associated RC8. I got to drive it for about 5 minutes before I lost a set screw (nice work dad), but as soon as I get a replacement I will be driving the heck out of it. I got the Castle Creations Mamba Monster Max 2200 for my Madfire buggy and I can’t wait till the conversion is finished on it. The Madfire is one of my favorite cars to drive. It looks cool and it drives great. I also spend a lot of time driving my E- Maxx and it is what convinced me to convert to electric on everything else. I had a couple of Nitro touring cars but sold them to get the Exceed Champion Brushless touring cars. So far I like the Champion a lot, but the tires don’t grip well enough to do any racing. We have an empty parking lot right next to a Viper Hobbies that they painted a cool little track onto. I always took my Nitro cars there to run, but when I got the Champions they just didn’t grip enough to do any real racing. I have new tires on order and hope that they will fix the problem. My E-Revo is gutted right now, but I am trying to talk my dad into getting me another MMM setup for it or an EZ-Run at least so I can beat the heck out of it some more. Well that’s enough about me. Please go to my forum and share a little about yourself and your cars.
